Thank you to our volunteers; Nominate someone for an award

Its National Volunteer Week in Canada. My personal thanks to the many volunteers who are helping to support activities and programs for our Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) members right across the country. We couldnt do it without you. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
The theme for this years volunteer week is The Value of One, The Power of Many.” From the CPRS National Board, local CPRS Societies, and our Councils, Committees and Task Forces, these individuals are dedicated to supporting our profession and serving our 1,400+ members.
Volunteer Canada says the week’s theme reflects on the awe-inspiring acts of kindness by millions of individuals AND the magic that happens when we work together towards a common purpose.” That is absolutely true, both at the community level, and on a smaller scale, for our association.
Coming together to make a difference is the essence of volunteering. Want to volunteer with CPRS?  Contact any member of the Board, local Societies or our Councils, Committees and Task Forces.  You can also reach out to me personally or contact the National office.
Do you know someone who has done exceptional volunteer work for CPRS over the years?  Why not nominate them for one of our CPRS Major and Special Awards
Nominations are due by June 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and must include both an entry form and a summary detailing how the candidate meets the nomination criteria.  The awards include:
There is also a Presidents Award, plus Student Awards and Scholarships. Want to know more about these awards? Contact the National office.
Thanks again to all our CPRS volunteers!
