Manager, Public Relations

Created by the founder of Endy Sleep, Kilne Cookware is the next big thing in direct to consumer brands in North Amercia. This is an opportunity to help us grow our customer-centric brand in both Canada and the US.

As the Manager of Public Relations, you will be responsible for PR, Partnerships, and Brand Development. The ideal candidate is a user-obsessed brand strategist with strong media connections, experienced in building digital first brands.

Responsibilities

PUBLIC RELATIONS
  • Develop and oversee all day-to-day PR efforts, including strategy around thought leadership and content, focusing on both short and long lead efforts
  • Lead campaigns, events and product launch activities
  • Identify exciting, mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations to elevate the Kilne brand
  • Work with key agency partners, focusing on collaboration and results
BRAND DEVELOPMENT
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and manage brand moments and short-to-long term brand initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the brand positioning and lead brand evolution over time to keep it fresh and relevant.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive brand narrative and story throughout the user journey across different channels and platforms
CONTENT STRATEGY & COMMUNITY
  • Set a long-term content strategy that will be a cornerstone of our community and brand building efforts.
  • Develop and implement creative, sales focused writing across all channels
  • Partner collaboratively with the Social Media, Creative and Marketing teams on creative planning, launches and assets
  • Lead social giving initiatives/ partnerships in Canada and the US

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in a public relations role with a focus on product marketing and/or brand development
  • Experience working in or with modern DTC and/or cookware brands is a big PLUS
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to find new opportunities for business growth
  • Proven track record of generating brand marketing initiatives and partnerships that result in meaningful business outcomes, ideally at a consumer brand.
  • Strong communicator and brand advocate
