Government Communications and Public Engagement is a dynamic, progressive and innovative organization that supports government in its ongoing dialogue with British Columbians.
The Manager, Multilingual Services, leads a team to provide critical information about COVID-19 in nine languages: French, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) Punjabi, Farsi, Tagalog, Spanish, Korean, and Arabic. As the Manager, you are accountable for ensuring clear, timely and accurate information in multiple languages across government’s online service channels, including
gov.bc.ca and government social media accounts. In this role you will work closely with internal and external partners and clients to set priorities, expectations and standards, provide quality assurance and version control, and ensure all delivery requirements are met. As the Manager, you will work to build and foster relationships with stakeholders and community leaders to raise awareness of multilingual information about COVID-19 and gather feedback. Additionally, in this Manager role, you will be responsible for managing contractors (invoices and quotes) and providing regular reporting on performance metrics.
