Reporting to the President & CEO, the Executive Director, Communications is responsible for leading the communications team, working collaboratively with colleagues, and providing strategic advice that enables strong relationships, understanding, trust and productive partnerships. The Executive Director is a reputational brand ambassador for NB Power and plays an important role in helping the corporation fulfill its mission and vision for positive economic and societal impact.
The Executive Director, Communications manages internal and external communications with the goal of sharing with key stakeholders and employees NB Power’s story, building support for sustainability and business goals as well as regulatory and operational requirements. The Executive Director brings an innovative and curious lens to the role, applying best practices in collaboration and insights-based communication strategies.
