Job Level
We are seeking a Communications Advisor who will support the Desjardins Agent Network (DAN). The person in this position carries out various communication mandates and develops action plans. The incumbent writes content related to these mandates and has excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional information
- Identify needs, advise and support the client with respect to internal communication initiatives, and communication programs, tools and activities, according to recognized Desjardins practices.
- Help plan, design, execute and coordinate the development, implementation and evolution of various communication mandates or plans, and ensure they meet clients' needs.
- Work closely with business partners and subject matter experts to write, edit and proofread high quality copy in a fast-paced environment.
- Create clear and compelling communications in various formats including memos, presentations, scripts and newsletters.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and processes for communicating information.
- Establish and maintains a network of internal partners and external suppliers to assist with communication needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication or Public Relations (preferred)
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Formal (business or corporate) communications experience
- Sales communications and insurance industry experience (an asset)
