Job Description

In this role you will support the achievement of the University's objectives and academic priorities, and successes through a variety of editorial tools to protect, maintain and enhance the University's brand and reputation. You will be primarily responsible for writing original editorial content for yFile, the York University Alumni Magazine, campus LCD screens, and other major institutional editorial materials.

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

A university degree in Journalism, Communications (Mass or Corporate), Marketing, English or any communications-related field. You will also bring with you five (5) years' recent relevant experience in a combination of public relations and editorial/publications positions, with at least 2 years’ experience at the 'editorship' level.
