When businesses, not-for-profit groups and governments need to communicate effectively with people inside and outside the organization, they turn to public relations practitioners. Conestoga’s PR diploma program allows you to meet the challenge, mastering a wide range of communication techniques and strategies, from media conferences and speeches to publications, websites and social media. Our faculty members bring decades of industry experience to the classroom and cover every stage of the PR process. You’ll learn how to conduct research, plan campaigns, write and produce compelling messages and help your organization manage its reputation. Our graduates emerge able to think strategically, write with flair and execute with confidence. The program includes a 6-week practicum work placement and a final capstone exam, providing you with significant work for your portfolio and the confidence to pursue employment in public relations.
Please note that our diploma graduates have the opportunity to bridge into our Bachelor of Public Relations degree program.
