TORONTO - The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) welcomes six seasoned communications professionals to the Society's
College of Fellows. The newly appointed Fellows will be honoured for their professional achievement at the annual College of Fellows Luncheon during the upcoming
World Public Relations Forum,
Communication Across Cultures, in Toronto, ON, May 29-31, 2016.

"Earning Fellowship with the Canadian Public Relations Society is a career milestone, one that requires significant contributions to the profession and the highest degree of professionalism. Since 2000, the College of Fellows has recognized CPRS members who are proven leaders in their communities and the public relations and communications profession. There are currently 115 members in the College of Fellows, including this year's inductees, and 17 Honorary Fellows.
"The Fellows inducted into the College embody all of the characteristics of passionate public relations and communications professionals who are committed to advancing the profession and the Canadian Public Relations Society. These exceptional individuals have displayed their professional skills as leaders in the PR community," added Daniel Granger, L.LL., MBA, APR, FCPRS, Presiding Officer, CPRS College of Fellows. "The College of Fellows Luncheon at the World Public Relations Forum in Toronto will be the ideal venue to recognize these outstanding Canadian public relations practitioners."
In order to attain Fellowship status with CPRS, a public relations professional must be a member with the Society for at least 10 years, have a minimum of 20 years of experience within the profession, and be accredited in public relations (APR). Successful Fellows have demonstrated a significant contribution to the public relations profession and to the CPRS community.
