New Study on PR Effectiveness & Golf

Vancouver - A new study released today by the Canadian Society for More Golf (CSMG) concludes that there is a direct correlation between the amount of golf PR practitioners play and the effectiveness of their public relations programs. The CSMG interviewed a few PR practitioners in the 19th Hole at golf courses in Calgary, Ottawa, Prince George, Toronto and Halifax as part of the study. CSMG researchers say it was difficult to draw conclusive evidence as those interviewed tended to focus on their under-inflated golf scores rather than answer direct questions. Others were simply distracted by their own hydration research projects.

Due to the uncertainty of the study's conclusions, the CSMG plans to conduct a second round of testing during the first ever 'CPRS Fun Golf Event - CPRS FGE' at UBC Golf Course on the afternoon of Saturday, June 06, 2009. CPRS has reserved 24 tee times starting at 12 p.m., and will be allocating those spots on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy 18 holes at one of Vancouver's finest and most fun golf courses, and of course, to partake in the CSMG study in the 19th hole following your round.

Be sure to start of your 2009 CPRS National Conference in Vancouver off with a fun round of golf with your fellow CPRS members and get ready for three days of non-stop CPRS Conference action as the Vancouver Host Committee delivers what will be an outstanding conference and a large helping of west-coast hospitality.
