Northern Lights Member Society

The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) - Northern Lights offers you the opportunity to connect regularly with other communications professionals, access quality professional development seminars, and keep in tune with the latest developments in your profession. Since its formation in 1999, the Northern Lights group has become one of the fastest growing member societies and now represents a network of members working throughout northern and central BC, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon.

Keeping Northern Communicators Connected
Members of CPRS Northern Lights stay connected with current trends, hot topics and each other through a variety of networking, professional development sessions and regular updates and bulletins. Our group usually meets the second Wednesday of the month, with a speaker presenting on a relevant and timely issue. Our AGM is in September and every December we hold a social networking event. Full or part day professional development sessions called Building Blocks are scheduled throughout the year.

CPRS NORTHERN LIGHTS UPCOMING EVENTS

Hi All:

In preparation for the upcoming 2009-2010 season, CPRS-Northern Lights is undertaking its first annual membership survey.

As an executive, our ideas are limited to the five of us, and although we come up with some pretty exceptional stuff, we know that you too are full of ideas for great session topics, suggested speakers, or heck, even a good caterer!

Don’t discriminate - ask for the moon! We’ll see what we can do (within our budget constraints, of course).

The survey will shut down by next Wednesday, September 30. Please take a moment to fill it out before then. It shouldn’t take long and will really help make our great chapter even better.
