Business Case
In February, 2010, Walmart Canada hosted the Walmart Green Business Summit in Vancouver, B.C. The summit’s aim was to show the 300 plus Canadian CEOs and NGO directors in attendance that green business practices are good for the bottom line: they reduce waste, cut costs and improve brand image. To continue building its reputation as a sustainable retailer and to maintain the momentum of the summit, Walmart Canada engaged Reputations to launch ShareGreen.ca, a summit legacy project that could facilitate further learning and collaboration. The website would be national in reach, cost-effective to operate and be more accessible than a physical library or one-day event.
Target Audience
While developing the ShareGreen.ca campaign, Reputations had three stakeholders in mind: government, businesses and NGOs.
