Business Case
Fédération Des Médecins Spécialistes Du Québec had a difficult situation on its hands when it planned to renovate its office in downtown Montréal—all while operating at regular capacity. FMSQ developed an internal communications plan to help ease employees into the new work environment during the office's transformation. During the major construction project, FMSQ turned its office into a 21st century gaulois village in an attempt to build employee and morale and "resist the assaults of our enemies, the renovators."
Target Audience
This campaign was an internal communications plan targeting all Fédération Des Médecins Spécialistes Du Québec employees.
Objectives
Fédération Des Médecins Spécialistes Du Québec had two clear objectives in mind when it developed its internal communications plan:
- Minimize inconveniences to employees due to major construction.
- Create a harmonious environment for employees despite the numerous difficulties during the renovation.
Result
Did the renovations at the Fédération Des Médecins Spécialistes Du Québec cause too many distractions and disruptions to employees? Was FMSQ management able to keep employee morale high during inconvenient times?
