About Rod
Rod Stanley has worked for a variety of federal and provincial government agencies as well as numerous non-profit organizations in both PEI and Toronto. For the past four years, he has had an ex-officio seat at the Senior Management Table. Currently he is the Provincial Communications Coordinator, Department of Health (Charlottetown, PEI).
Rod started in public relations in 1982. He has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University in Toronto and has also studied Journalism at Holland College in P.E.I.
An active member of the public relations community, he most recently held the positions of National Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President for CPRS National, was President of the PEI member society and was also Entertainment and Hospitality Chair for the successful National 2003 CPRS conference held in Charlottetown.
He was also a member and Treasurer of the Atlantic Regional Board of the Health Care Public Relations Association. An accredited CPRS member since 2001, his work has been recognized by the CPRS Gemstone Awards in Halifax.
