Exceptional writing and media relations skills required
Develop, implement and evaluate the media strategies that support corporate goals. As a leader on our Media and Social Media team, you'll be a go-to person on issues related to traditional media, with a firm grasp of the social media world as well. You'll consult with senior leaders and teams across FCC analyzing information and providing media relations advice and training. With your senior-level, professional-calibre communication skills, you'll research and write key messages, articles, releases, stories and other content for traditional and social media. Put your knowledge of communication strategies to use as you create media tactics, monitor media uptake, and mentor others. Working with external vendors, you'll negotiate outsourcing as required. You have a degree in communications, journalism or English and at least eight years of related media/social media experience (or equivalent combination).
