Regular, Full Time, Newmarket Office
Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience
Hours of Work: (35-hour work week)
Through the provision of award-winning leadership in the restoration and protection of the environmental health and quality of Lake Simcoe and its watershed, the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) has worked for over 50 years in protecting natural resources in the Lake Simcoe watershed in collaboration with community, municipal and other governmental partners.
As a result of a heightened focus on the integration and expansion of its corporate communications and education outreach programs, LSRCA is seeking progressive leaders and consummate communicators who can inspire and engage audiences through the provision of written materials, graphics, media relations and key messaging with regard to focused conservation initiatives. In addition, the ability to provide sound financial and administrative stewardship to the communication/education staff team, coordinate community events and integrate educational programming with Ontario’s education curriculum are critical aspects to the success of these positions.
