Canadian Public Relations Society - Call for Board Candidates
The 2010 CPRS Nominating Committee is looking for strong and enthusiastic public relations professionals to lead our National Society . We need individuals from any of the six geographic regions to serve three-year terms as members of the CPRS Board of Directors. There will be four Director positions available on the Board for election.
In accordance with our National By-laws, we are providing official notice of the call for candidates to all members via this email.
Board members must be accredited members or have a minimum of five years membership in the National Society and a minimum of one year's experience on a Member Society Board, or National Council, Committee or Task Force and be current members of the National Society in good standing. Board members must also have knowledge of national affairs and issues which are relevant to the affairs and business of the National Society.
Any Accredited Director shall be eligible for nomination to any one of the Offices of President, Vice-President / Treasurer or Vice-President / Corporate Secretary.
The deadline for filing the nominating form/candidacy profile is Monday, April 12, 2010 at Midnight, Eastern Time.
