What's New

We are listening to you! Based on the results of members’ surveys, we are making changes to the awards program this year.

New Categories
Multi-media Projects – This category replaces the former “Audio-Visual Projects” category and will recognize communications projects that utilize a range of one or more multi-media tactics to achieve an organizations communication objectives including but not limited to, video, video news releases, audio only, podcasting, CD ROMs, or computer generated slide presentations developed for internal or external target audiences.

Electronic and Social Media – This new category combines aspects of two past categories – “Electronic & Interactive Communications” and “Social Media” – and will recognize a communications project that utilizes electronic and/or social media tools to achieve an organization’s communications objectives including but not limited to websites, intranet sites, blogs, webcasts, online productions, discussion boards, Face Book, Twitter, etc.

We’ve also included five (5) new awards this year to further recognize work done in Internal Communications. This includes adding an internal communications aspect to the following categories: Special Events; Multi-media Projects; Print Projects; Electronic and Social Media; and Writing.
