MAJOR AWARDS
The CPRS Major Awards are Canada's most coveted public relations honours for individuals and Member Societies. Unlike the National Awards of Excellence, where you submit your own work, Major Awards candidates are nominated by peers. These awards recognize exceptional involvement in the profession. Both nominee and nominator must be CPRS members in good standing. Note: Due to the stringent criteria, some Major Awards may not be awarded annually. No entry fees are required.
Nominations must be received by March 30, 2012 and include a Major Awards Entry Form and a submission summary which details why the candidate fulfills the nomination criteria. Unlike National Awards of Excellence, Major Awards may be submitted electronically.
Major Awards will be presented during the CPRS Awards of Excellence Gala dinner on Tuesday June 12, 2012, in Victoria, British Columbia. Honourees will be featured on the CPRS website and on a local level. Refer to each of the categories below for detailed nomination criteria.
