NATIONAL Public Relations
John Crean is National Managing Partner at NATIONAL Public Relations, responsible for the strategic and operational performance of the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Board’s Executive Committee.
In addition to John’s management responsibilities for the firm, he brings over 20 years of diverse communications experience as a public relations consultant to the team. Managing all aspects of his clients’ assignments, John’s experience ranges from product launches and media relations to crisis counseling and coalition-building.
In addition to program development and execution, John is an accomplished facilitator. He has worked with a variety of clients in Canada and the United States to facilitate workshops, training and brainstorming sessions and other corporate and organizational meetings.
He is the Chairman of the Board of the Hospice Association of Ontario (HAO), sits on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the New Haven Learning Centre, a unique school for children living with autism and serves on the Communications Advisory Committee of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Ontario).
John is an honours BA graduate from York University’s mass communications and political science program and has completed the Leading Professional Service Firm Program at Harvard Business School.
