Harbour Cruise and Supper - social event
Cruise leaves wharf at 6 p.m.
Come join us for a 2-hour harbour cruise aboard the Harbour Queen 1, a Mississippi-style
sternwheeler with 194 person capacity. The vessel has two decks; the lower deck is
enclosed and heated, and the upper deck is roofed and is open to the air. There is a
fully licensed bar, washroom facilities and an area for entertainment and presentations.
Snacks will be available during the cruise of the historic and picturesque harbour before
docking for supper at Murphy's on the Water. Dinner Menu is Tossed Green Salad & Rolls, a
choice of: poached Atlantic salmon, chicken breast supreme or 8 oz. striploin, apple crisp
topped with whipped topping and tea & coffee. The cruise begins at 6 p.m. and the entire
package should take about 3.5 hours.

Lobster Supper and Dance - social event
Buses leave hotel at 5 p.m. - shuttle buses return to hotel at 9, 10 and 11:30 p.m.
Buses leave the conference hotel at 5 p.m. and head for the historic Shore Club in Hubbards,
located along the provincial shore line about 45 minutes from Halifax. The Shore Club is home
to Nova Scotia's longest continuous Lobster Suppers is also Nova Scotia's last great Dance
Hall. Since 1946 when the first Shore Club lobster supper was cooked in a large copper
cook-pot from the US frigate, Chesapeake, over 1,000,000 lobster suppers have been served at
the Shore Club. After supper, be prepared to spend some time on the dance floor with the
musical group Big Fish. This lively acoustic quintet, noted for their strong four part
harmonies and expansive set list of all your favorites, has been performing their unique
show for over three years throughout the Maritimes. This group loves to have fun and it
shows! Shuttle buses will be leaving the Shore Club at 9, 10 and 11:30 p.m.
